Fragments of Passage brings together works that have grown out of an ongoing engagement with architecture, memory and material. While the mehrab continues to appear as a recurring form, it is no longer treated as an architectural element. It has become a way of thinking about thresholds, transitions and the spaces we carry within us.

These works are built slowly. Layers are added, removed and reworked until the surface begins to hold its own history. Wood, paper and found materials each carry traces of time, allowing the work to develop through process rather than certainty.
I have never been interested in recreating places. I am interested in what remains after we leave them. Memory is rarely complete. It survives in fragments, in impressions, in details that return unexpectedly. This body of work accepts that condition, allowing incomplete narratives to exist without demanding resolution.
Fragments of Passage reflects my continuing search for a visual language that balances structure with intuition, restraint with emotion, and the physical presence of material with the quieter experience of remembrance.
